Today we will look into three Philadelphia Flyers who are likely playing in their last seasons as Flyers, and could be gone before we know it.

#1 - James Van Riemsdyk
''JVR'' is quite the obvious one to start off with, he carries a whopping $7 million per season cap hit that does not make sense, but a big old thanks to Ron Hextall for that contract before he parted ways with the Flyers! Reporter of the Daily Faceoff Frank Serevalli has recently reported that James Van Riemsdyk may be a trade-deadline acquisition for a contending team, but the Flyers will have to retain at least 50% of his salary in order for anyone to want him.

A 38 point season in 82 games last year for $7,000,000 annual is embarrassing for the Flyers.
Morgan Frost was drafted in 2017 by the Philadelphia Flyers and was labeled as the next ''prodigy'' of the Flyers, having plenty of high hope surrounding his name- Frost quickly began to show serious signs of skill level compared to the NHL's pace, and headed to the Flyers AHL as many would. But fast forwarding five, nearly six years later, Frost has finally earned himself his first ''full-time'' roster move, and who knows if that is just because of injuries or not.
6 points in 25 games this season with a plus/minus rating of negative 6 is quite awful, Frost has been given countless of opportunities on the Flyers powerplay as well as top line at times but shows serious needing of some confidence.
The Flyers have reportedly received calls on Frost, it's just a matter of time for Chuck Fletcher to accept a trade and somehow get worst as a team from it (Fletcher's specialty).

#3 - Justin Braun
A defensemen that Chuck Fletcher admires for some, a 35-year old aging one as well. Braun is a solid filler on the Flyers third d-pair as well as on the penalty kill, but he is simply just nothing special, no ''outstanding'' plays on the defence side of things or offense, Braun is really just there at times.
Braun was traded to the Flyers in 2019, the Flyers sent a third round pick as well as a second round pick to the Sharks in exchange for Braun.
The Flyers then traded Braun this year on March 21st to the Rangers in hopes Braun could get some playing time, the Flyers received a third-round pick in return.
The Rangers playoffs came to a end, and for some reason, Chuck Fletcher decided to acquire Braun once again.. for what reason? We will never know..
Braun has been rumoured to be linked to several contenders, as a right-handed shot defensemen is hard to come by these days.
Expect Braun to be moved before the NHL's trade deadline after the New Year.
