The Philadelphia Flyers have undergone significant changes in their management group, and it seems that these changes will affect their on-ice performance. Although a complete fire sale is unlikely, a rebuild may be in the works, which could involve parting ways with goaltender Carter Hart.

Here are three potential destinations for the former second-round pick:
Ottawa Senators:
Must read on FlyersInsider
It is unlikely that an Eastern Conference team will acquire Hart if he is traded, but the Senators could be a team to watch. They have no guarantee that Cam Talbot will re-sign for next season, and some of their goaltending prospects are still a few years away. The Senators are an up-and-coming team, and Hart would be a fun addition to watch as their backup.
San Jose Sharks:
The Sharks may be in the market for a young goaltender with veteran James Reimer becoming a free agent this summer. Hart may benefit from a change of scenery and a move to San Jose could help him get back to his best form of stopping pucks. Hart has not had a save percentage above .915 since his rookie year five seasons ago.
Colorado Avalanche:
The Avalanche is another potential destination for Hart. They currently have Alexandar Georgiev as their number one goalie but could see Hart as a possible upgrade over Pavel Francouz, who is set to become a free agent after the 2023-24 season. Resetting with a recent Stanley Cup champion could rejuvenate Hart's career and put him back on the path to becoming an elite goaltender as he was once projected to be.
