One thing that seems to go pretty well under Chuck Fletcher is the drafting. Numerous players like Ty Foerster, Bobby Brink or Emil Andrae have a great future ahead of them.
One player that people didn't talk about a lot this season is Connor McClennon. He was drafted 178th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft, and just had a great season with the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL.
He was the 2nd best point producer of his club behind Matthew Savoie (a possible first round selection for the Flyers this year) with 43 goals and 81 points in 62 games. He was the 12th best scorer in the WHL this campaign.
