A Flyers prospect wants out of Philly: Wish Granted

Now that the dust has settled and Flyers Nation knows who will lead the team in the next coming years. It's a matter of President Keith Jones and general manager Danny Briere getting down to business and taking care of some restricted free agents that the team needs to address.

The Flyers decided to make qualifying offers for five restricted free agents including, Noah Cates, Morgan Frost, Cam York, Ronnie Attard and Olle Lycksell.

Those players are a given, as they have been key pieces in this Flyers' season and will be in the future.

What is surprising is the Flyers did not want to send a qualifying offer to Wyatte Wylie. According to Jamey Baskow, It appears the player wanted out of Philly and the Flyers gave him his wish.
Wiley was drafted by the Flyers in the 2018 NHL draft, in the fifth round, 127th overall. The 23-year-old defenceman standing at six feet 190 pounds, played 45 games with The Phantoms, scored three goals had seven assists for 10 points and were a - 1.
It seems that playing time was the issue at heart and it appears they are moving away from him and looking for a change.
After all the qualifying offers sent the next order of business for the
Flyers are the NHL draft on June 28th and 29th, where the Flyers will choose 7th overall or better depending they make a trade or not.
