The Montreal Canadiens had their worst season in franchise history this past year after making it to the Stanley Cup final the year before causing many big changes.

One of the biggest changes came from Management as Canadiens Owner Geoff Molson would clean house. This included the firings of scout Trevor Timmins, and General Manager Marc Bergevin. Molson would hire Jeff Gorton as the new Excutive Vice President of Hockey Operations, who would go on to hire Kent Hughes as the Canadiens new General Manager and Martin St Louis as Head Coach.
There was also numerous trades made including the trade that sent defenceman Jeff Petry along with forward Ryan Poheling to the Pittsburgh Penguins for defenceman Mike Matheson and a fourth-round draft pick. Petry like most of the team had a very rough year this past season and was the subject of trade talks for most of the season.

However, it wasn't long ago that he was reunited with his former teammate Cole Caulfield. Judging by their embrace, the bromance is real! Caulfield and Petry would meet up this past weekend, the two were very close as Petry despite being a defenceman was a mentor for Caulfield in Montreal.
