Derick Brassard has been traded to the Edmonton Oilers during the trade deadline. After half a season with the orange & black, Brassard wanted to move to a more successful team. However, he's been living a nightmare since arriving in Alberta.
Brassard has played only 13 games since his arrival, in which he managed to score just 2 goals. He has not played a single minute between the 12th and 22nd of April and even when he was back on the ice, he didn't stay for long. Yesterday, he played for 11 minutes against the Penguins where he missed an open net goal. He was on the ice for seven and six minutes during his two previous games.
Things are not going well for Brassard; he is getting older and his arrival in a competitive team make it difficult for him to get more ice time. Will he manage to find his place ?
