A hockey fan loses it over a post regarding a girl's sports initiative with the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles.
To be even more inclusive within local sports, the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles, Union, Wings, Sixers, and Phillies teams recently teamed up to promote an initiative that aimed to be more inclusive.
In the first Girls Sports Initiative, 200 local girls took part in a one-day camp that enabled them to learn about different sports and figure out what they wanted to explore in the future to develop their sporting skills.

It sounds like this was a great initiative, as they got a taste of what it was like to play sports with the Flyers. As you can see, those twigs are pretty nice!
It should be noted that shortly after this post about the Flyers was made, someone accused them of discriminating against women because of "pride flags," totally hinged behavior.
But you'll slap that pride logo up every June and allow men to deny women opportunities and fairness in sports.
This sounds untrue and like another way for fans to blame others for circumstances they don't know anything about or to hate the other party to express their hatred for them.
I think, despite the buyout news, the initiative should continue, as the PHF was adding teams in recent years, increasing women's hockey's popularity, as it was growing in popularity. Hopefully, they will grow to be Flyers fans in the long run!
