Since his most recent recall up to the big team from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Flyers top prospect Cam York has been turning heads.
York, 21 was drafted 14th overall in the 2019 NHL draft. This season he has 10 goals and 2 assists for 12 points in the AHL.

The plus 3.40% CF Rel roughly means that compared to his teammates and when he is not on the ice, the Flyers produce 3.40% more scoring chances and shots on goal.
His xGF% also means that York's goals for percentage is 3.14% higher relative to those of his teammates. These numbers are not staggering but they do emphasize his improved play as of late.
In his last three games, York has played more than 20 minutes a night and has three points in that span. With many players leaving, it's time for coach Mike Yeo to play his young guns and let them develop. York is on the right path.
