Alex DeBrincat was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2016, 39th overall, his career jumpstarted quite quickly as his first and second year in the league he had nearly 70 goals, as a young 19 and 20 year old skater.

DeBrincat found a bond with superstar forward Patrick Kane and learned the ways of the game sharing the same line as Kane, and had yet another breakout season of 78 points, including a impressive 41 goals scored.
You can easily say DeBrincat's career was kickstarted in a Blackhawks uniform, and may not have been the same elsewhere, he was slapped on a line with Patrick Kane which forced his development through the roof. DeBrincat spent 5 years in a Blackhawks jersey, tallying up 307 points in 368 games totalled.
DeBrincat was traded from the Blackhawks to the Ottawa Senators this off-season, and it seems as if DeBrincat is not looking back whatsoever from his most recent comments, which added salt to the wound of Blackhawks fans.

''It's going to be a really fun year here in Ottawa, something i wouldn't be able to say if i was still a Blackhawk''.
Quite the unnecessary comment DeBrincat said on NHL insider Frank Servalli's podcast, and quite the shot in the dark.
