An enormous trade could happen this summer

GM Kyle Davidson clearly stated that he was going to conduct a rebuild, which makes sense. The Chicago Blackhawks are at the end of a cycle and they must now focus on drafting and developing young players.

Thus, the future of their stars like Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews is uncertain, to say the least. The former could very well be traded this summer, but at one condition : he will have to ask a trade in order to be sent elsewhere. Davidson will not pull the trigger if Kane doesn't ask for a trade...

If Kane is indeed traded, the Blackhawks could get an enormous return. He's still a star and will have a huge impact on the team he will play. But one thing for sure : at 33 years old, Kane certainly knows that he doesn't have a lot of time left in the NHL so he will certainly ask a move to a contender.
