The Philadelphia Flyers are constantly subject to trade rumors, with Danny Briere stating that anyone on the team could be traded for the right price.
One of these names that pop up regularly is Travis Konecny, who has not been moved in quite some time. However, his name is still being discussed in another trade.
ClutchPoints.com suggested a Konency trade to the Washington Capitals in the latest discussion. Konecny could be a solution to McLellan's plans to retool the team and make it younger.
Having Konecny on the team would help Washington win another cup before TJ Oshie, Nicklas Backstrom, and Tom Wilson retire or get traded.

However, I doubt Danny Briere would want to trade the team's best scorer to a division rival despite listening in on him most of the offseason.
However, if the Capitals were to pull it off, it would definitely leverage the rivalry in their favor, given Konecny's 61-point season last year.
