Rumors circulated that Hart was being shopped and deals were expected to be finalized once the ongoing investigation ended.

Despite this, the rebuilding process has already begun with Danny Briere and the Philadelphia Flyers drafting Yegor Zavragin, a promising young goalie 87th, after selecting goalie Carson Bjarnason earlier in the draft 51st.
Zavragin, standing at 6'2" and weighing 190lbs, has recorded impressive stats in the MHL junior league, with a .926 sv% and a 31-10-3 record during the last 3 seasons.
Although he is relatively unknown, Zavragin was ranked 66th by Smaht Scouting and 150th by DailyFaceoff.com.
He will continue to hone his skills in the MHL with Mamonty Yugry during the 2023-2024 season.
