The Philadelphia Flyers have reportedly signed forward Cooper Marody to a 2-year contract. That's clearly a move to help the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Marody was actually drafted by the Flyers 158th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft.
He played 7 games in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers. In the AHL, he recorded 55 points in 52 years last season with the Bakersfield Condors.
