BREAKING: Former Flyers captain interviewed for the head coaching job

Well, it seems like the Flyers management will really take their time before making a decision on a new head coach. They interviewed multiple candidates since the start of the hiring process, and they are not done yet.

Bruce Cassidy could be the next one on Chuck Fletcher's list...
With that being said, former Flyer Rick Tocchet had indeed interviewed for the team's head coaching job recently.
As a head coach, he made the playoffs one time in 2019-20 with the Arizona Coyotes. However, his best season in terms of point percentage behind the bench is .529, which isn't great...
With the Flyers, Tocchet played 621 games with the Flyers, where he recorded 508 points. He was the captain of the team during the 1991-92 season.
