Keith Yandle was signed for a steal of a deal by the Philadelphia Flyers last off-season in hopes to give the veteran defenseman a decent home for his potential last year in the NHL. His last year with the Flyers wasn't ideally a good home, as his iron man streak was cut short as he was a healthy scratch for a few of the last games of the season for the Flyers.
Keith Yandle has retired from professional hockey at the age of 36. Yandle played 1,109 games with Arizona, New York, Florida, and Philadelphia, scoring 103 goals and 619 points. He holds the all-time record for most consecutive games played, at 989.
