BREAKING NEWS: Chuck Fletcher made up his mind and offered the head coaching position to this man

It's now a matter of time before the Flyers make it official. According to NHL insider Kevin Weekes, Philadelphia has offered their head coaching position to John Tortorella.

It's known since quite some time that Torts was REALLY high on the list for the Flyers. There hasn't been any official announcements yet, but it could be as early as today. There's more negotiations for the deal to be completed, but it is heading in the right direction.

John Tortorella coached 1383 NHL games, and has won 673 matches. In 2004, he won the Stanley Cup as the Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach.
