With Chuck Fletcher's tenure now behind Flyers nation, interim general manager Danny Briere has begun his work in rebuilding this team.

In the first few days of his administration, it appears he's about to sign the 2020 second-round draft pick defencemen Emil Andrae to a PTO who will play with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms starting tomorrow.
Andrae, who played for the Swedish Hockey League had finished his season with six goals, 20 assists in 26 points in 51 games. There is a strong possibility he may sign an entry-level deal before the NHL season is done however not at this moment.
The 21-year-old defenseman stands at 5 foot 9 and 181 pounds. He was chosen in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft in the second round 54th overall.
It's quite encouraging to see that Mr. Briere's work has begun and he's making quick work of getting players locked up for the signing. There is much more work to be done mind you but it's a start.
