Just over 12 hours after winning the gold, the Seattle Kraken moved Wright down to his Junior club, and several sources revealed a trade for Wright in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) was in the works as a result of his current team, the Kingston Frontenacs, being out of the playoff picture.
The son of former NHL player Radek Bonk, defenseman Oliver Bonk, has reportedly been dealt to the London Knights in exchange for Shane Wright. In addition, it's said that Kingston will receive six draft picks in return for Wright as well.
