Phantoms' Olle Lycksell Named AHL Player of the Week

In some exciting news for the Philadelphia Flyers organization, one of their highly touted prospects, Olle Lycksell, has been recognized as the Howies Hockey Tape/AHL Player of the Week. This honor comes after a remarkable performance that took place over the weekend, ending on October 22, 2023.
Lycksell's outstanding efforts saw him net five goals across three games in a span of just under 48 hours. What's particularly impressive is that he played a pivotal role in securing victory for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, contributing game-winning goals in both of their wins.
The weekend action began with a bang as Lycksell accomplished a feat that every hockey player dreams of: a hat trick. In Springfield, he scored one goal in each period, helping the Phantoms secure a convincing 5-2 victory. The following game in Hartford resulted in a 5-1 loss, but Lycksell still managed to find the back of the net. The weekend wrapped up with a power-play goal that delivered the Phantoms a 3-2 home win over Springfield.
