Bobby Clarke and Paul Holmgren have a preferred candidate for the head coaching job

The Philadelphia Flyers are now deep into their search for the head coaching job. They have talked to a LOT of candidates, but in the team's management, it seems like one man is preferred to take the job.
Elliotte Friedman, from Sportsnet, revealed that Bobby Clarke would want to see John Tortorella behind the bench. Paul Holmgren, who is the former Team President and current Senior Advisor, has the same opinion as Clarke.
"As Friedman reported a few weeks back, there are some within the Flyers who are very high on Tortorella, Senior Advisor Bob Clarke being one of them. Asking around, in addition to Clarke, Senior Advisor and former Team President Paul Holmgren also is in favor of hiring Tortorella. While it is yet to be seen if he will in fact emerge as a true front runner," wrote Anthony Di Marco.
