The Carolina Hurricanes got hit with some bad news Tonight.
As the Carolina Hurricanes President and General Manager Don Waddell, would announce newly acquired forward Max Pacioretty will undergo surgery to repair a torn Achilles.
According to Waddell the surgery will be performed by Dr. Kevin Logel at Raleigh Orthopaedic on Wednesday.
Unfortunately for the Hurricanes Pacioretty is expected to be out six months.
The Hurricanes acquired Pacioretty along with defenceman Dylan Coghlan back on July 13th from the Golden Knights for future constructions after Golden knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon was forced to clear cap space.
