Bruce Cassidy was betrayed by the Bruins management

The Bruins took everyone by surprise when they announced that they fired head coach Bruce Cassidy. He made an unbelievable job behind the team's bench, but it seems like the management was ready to move on.
However, the way they did it could be considered as a lack of class. During his exit meeting, Bruce Cassidy said that the management told him that he was safe. Two weeks after, he was fired.
"That's how it would be proceeding forward. And that was it. Sometimes there are talks after every year of - right away, there are coaches let go, there are extensions, there's status quo. So that was the message: It would be status quo," said Cassidy.
Cassidy also confirmed that he had talks with multiple teams since he was fired.
