Given the fact everyone saw the play the injury occurred on, it's pretty easy to surmise the injury is a concussion; however, there is a slight chance it's neck related. If it is a concussion, they are obviously unpredictable. The Flyers, as usual with injuries were mum and no further update aside from "upper-body" was given as the Flyers head into the holiday break.
The team will return to practice on December 27th before they head to California to continue their annual Disney On Ice Holiday road trip. Fans will have a better idea then where the Flyers stand with their starting goalie and what tandem will be heading west with them. Flyers next game is Thursday, December 29th in San Jose against the Sharks.
