Yesterday, the three finalists for the Hobey Baker award, given to the top NCAA player of the year, were revealed. Bobby Brink, who registered 56 points in 39 games this season, is one of the Flyers' best prospects and the favourite to win the award.

Once his season is over, he'll probably sign his entry-level contract with the team. We could even see him playing some games in the NHL this year.

Ben Meyers, from the University of Minnesota, is one of the two other finalists and according to rumours, the Flyers are pushing to sign him. Meyers has 41 points in 33 games this year.

Of course, being a Hobey Baker winner (or finalist) doesn't mean that you are going to become an elite player in the NHL. However, it is believed that Meyers could become a very valuable forward on a third line in the NHL.

In the case of Brink, he clearly has top-6 upside.

Seeing the two of them in a Flyers jersey this year is a strong possibility!
