Claude Giroux is facing off against the Philadelphia Flyers today for a early game which starts at 1:00PM Eastern. This marks Giroux's first game back in Philly, and the Wells Fargo Centre released a message asking for fans to arrive early as they will be holding a ceremony/video tribute for Claude Giroux.

Just one week ago today the Flyers faced Giroux in his new threads in Ottawa, goaltender Carter Hart lead the Flyers to a loss which left Giroux quite disappointed.

Giroux feels as if todays game in Philadelphia will be more emotional, but he has to set those emotions aside and play hockey.
Giroux also was asked about how he feels Flyers fans will respond to him facing the Flyers in Philly for the first time, and he took a couple shots at Flyers fans.
Question to Giroux:
What will the reaction be? We're guessing a standing ovation?
''Standing ovations AND boos'' said Giroux..
''Philly fans, so they might give me a standing O, and then they might boo me,'' Giroux said.
''So that's what I expect, and I wouldn't ask for anything else. I mean, the Flyers' fans are absolutely nuts.''
Giroux ended the interview with a little nicer approach:
''Flyers fans you don't know what to expect, but I had a great relationship with them. We had a lot of ups and downs, but I loved playing in front of them, their passionate.''
