Former Flyers captain and now member of the Florida Panthers, Claude Giroux, broke his season tally for assists last night, notching three helpers in a dominant 6-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

According to the Panthers' PR team, Giroux went 12-15 in the faceoff dot, good for 80% and posted three assists.

Over his last twelve games, Giroux has 15 points, 2 goals and 13 assists since making the move down to the Sunshine State.

Since joining Florida, Giroux has helped them to an 11-1-0 record. Six of his twelve games with his new team also saw him have a multi point game.

Aged 34, there is no doubt that Claude Giroux is a Hall-of-Famer. The only remaining question is will he do so with his name on Lord Stanley's Cup?
