It's going to be a busy summer.

When the Vancouver Canucks acquired defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson - and his huge contract - you could just feel that it wouldn't look good. And it doesn't.
Of course, ELK didn't play poorly this season, but 29 points in 79 games is just not enough for a player who has a 8.2M$ cap hit until 2027. As the Canucks hired a new GM in Patrik Allvin during the season, it was a possibility that he'd try to move Ekman-Larsson.
According to multiple reports, it's the case.

However, Ekman-Larsson has a No Movement Clause, so he controls his faith. Let's remind that the Canucks traded the 9th overall pick in 2021, Loui Eriksson, Jay Beagle and Antoine Roussel to get Ekman-Larsson and Conor Garland. If the performances of the latter were good this season, it's less the case for ELK.
Let's see if a team wants to try to revive the 30-year-old defenseman's career.
