Danny Briere is Going to Have a Busy Off-season

Excluding the draft, where Philly is bound to have a top 10 pick, there are 10 contracts up after this season. Depending on what happens with young forward Morgan Frost, it could be 11. Right now the Flyers have roughly $2 million in cap space. That's probably enough to sign Frost, but will it be enough to keep him for next year?

Philadelphia has $23 million to work with at the current moment for the 2023-24 season. Some notable name's already contracts are Owen Tippett, Carter Hart, Ryan Poehling, Sean Walker, and Yegor Zamula, and minor leaguer, Bobby Brink.

Briere of course is going to prioritize Tippett and maybe Frost, as they are both one of their best young guns at the current moment. Carter Hart is already circled with rumors about him being traded soon, but he's only 25 and could be an asset for the rebuild. The rest are the rest.

It's easier to tear down a team than to rebuild, so it'll be interesting to see how Briere manages this team in the future.
