Darcy Kuemper Shows His Gruesome Eye Injury From The Playoffs

The Colorado Avalanche are have been partying like a rock star after their Stanley Cup victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The playoffs aren't easy. Players have to give blood, sweat tears and in some cases broken bones to make it to the Stanley Cup. We have been learning about a lot of players injuries now that they can disclose them.
And it includes Avalanche goaltender Darcy Kuemper. Kuemper had a very rough playoffs and had a very serious injury that could've possibly ended his career. Kuemper got struck in the eye by the inadvertent stick of Nashville Predators forward Ryan Johansen that sidelined him for the rest of their first round series against the Nashville Predators. Kuemper would also leave game 1 versus Edmonton in the West Final with injury.
Now for the first time, days after winning the Cup, Kuemper shows everyone what his eye really looks like and what he played through to win the Stanley Cup.
