There's no secret that the Arizona Coyotes are to shop defenceman Jakob Chychrun but Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong has yet to get what he's asking for in return.
There's big news out of Arizona that Chychrun could of been traded but stopped the deal.
According to Coyote Insider Craig Morgan reported that a deal involving Chychrun and the Blue Jackets had fallen apart at the draft.
"The Columbus Blue Jackets thought they had a deal for Jakob Chychrun at the NHL draft, The deal fell through, I'm not really sure what happened there. But they felt they had a deal in place and the deal died."

Hockey Insider Bruce Garrioch would discuss the Jakob Chychrun Trade that didn't pan out at the Draft believing Chychrun stopped the deal.
Chychrun does have a modified no trade clause, in which he submits a 10 team no trade list, but that doesn't become active until the 2023 - 2024 NHL season.
