We got some breaking news from Sportsnet's Hockey Insider Elliotte Friedman as just shared.. the St Louis Blues have just stole forward Kasperi Kapanen off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Penguins shockingly placed Kapanen on waivers Friday to try to clear space to make a bigger deal but this has to be considered a loss for the Penguins.
The 26 year year-old is still under contract for one more year with a annual salary of $3.2 million. Kapanen has 7 goals, and 13 assists this season.
