Elliotte Friedman Reveals The Latest on a Travis Konecny & JVR Trade
With the trade deadline being just 15 days away now, teams might start to make trades or players with no move clauses might start to give their teams, a list of teams they would be willing to go to.
James van Riemsdyk doesn't have a NMC so that's nothing to worry about for the Flyers. Elliot Friedman on his 32 thoughts podcast came out and stated the following.
» James van Riemsdyk's interest appears to include Dallas, Minnesota Vegas and Winnipeg. I don't believe Philadelphia has any real desire to move Travis Konecny unless it's a whopper of an offer. The Flyers are looking, however, they are looking for centres. As mentioned on the pod, I've heard there's been some talk around Nick Seeler. I can see it: nice contract for another year; low-maintenance guy who plays hard on your third pair. But I don't believe the Flyers are in a hurry to do that, either."
JVR has a pretty hefty contract at $7 million, but becomes a UFA at the end of the season, for him to be dealt to one of these teams the Flyers are more then likely going to have to retain salary.
