Alexander Tertshny was made available for media at the Philadelphia Flyers Development camp in Vorhees, NJ.

Tertshny is a prospect who will have a chance to live the dream his father couldn't fulfill due to a tragedy.
Dmitri Tertshny was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1995, 132nd overall, from Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Dmitri was never to make a full career due to a boating tragedy, where he would be thrown out of the boat after it had hit a wave and run over, and the propellers would slash his jugular vein and neck.

Alexander recounts his father strengths and stated his father's goal was to make the Flyers, despite being ticketed for the Phantoms.
Much like Dmitri, Alexander is trying to make the dream a reality again, with a supportive mother, Polina, who also supposed his father's dream of making the NHL.
Dmitry would only play two games in the NHL, and Alexander wants to keep the dream alive. After a strong year in college in a difficult time, with the virus rampaging, Tertshny had a successful year. He would contact Brent Flahr twice before being invited to Development Camp.
Alexander seems humble but confident in his abilities to handle the puck and skate, but he was honest that his dad was a better defenseman than he was. Still, he looks to improve, listen, and absorb criticism like a sponge to make the dream happen.
