Pat Maroon's time with the Tampa Bay Lightning was over after he was traded to the Minnesota Wild.

During the October game between the Minnesota Wild and Florida Panthers, Nick Cousins and Pat Maroon got into a heated argument after the whistle.
Cousins then called Maroon "fat," leading to a rant from Maroon:
"Oh, I'm fat! Good one! You think I give a f--k? I'm still in the same league as you. Cool. Come up with something different. Come up with something different." Maroon said.

With the Wild, the 35-year-old enforcer has had a wicked start and is a nearly point-per-game player. With the team, Maroon has one goal and seven points in nine games, along with 11 penalty minutes.
As Pat Maroon is in rare form this season, the Wild's campaign will be interesting. The team has Stanley Cup aspirations, but could they trade the tough guy to another contender if they falter?
