The New York Rangers' training camp has begun, but it got off to a bumpy start for head coach Peter Laviolette.

It's not because the players are out of practice or lacking motivation, but due to an unfortunate incident. Arthur Staple of The Athletic recently reported that Laviolette got hit by a puck on the side of his head and had to be helped off the ice by a trainer.
