Having watched the NHL for over 30 years, there's nothing more exciting than seeing a player score their first goal in their career. Age doesn't seem to matter, whether the player is 18 or 30; the smile they wear is one you will never forget.

During tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres, Flyers defenseman Louie Belpidio, who was recently called up from the Phantoms, scored his first NHL career goal.
After several Flyers players directed pucks toward the net, Belpidio pinched and snapped the puck past Sabres goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.
A player who has spent the bulk of his career in the American Hockey League was drafted in 2014 by the Minnesota Wild, in the third round, 80th overall.
Standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 197 pounds, the 27-year-old defenseman has played eight games in the NHL. This season, he has played four games with the Flyers after Marc Staal went down with an injury.
