Morgan Frost finds himself in an unusual situation, as he's set to be a healthy scratch for the fifth consecutive game for the Flyers.
The team's success without him has led to this decision. With Carter Hart guarding the net tonight as the Flyers face off against the Wild, Frost remains on the sidelines.
When asked about Frost's situation, head coach John Tortorella expressed his desire to include him in the lineup. However, he emphasized that it must be in an offensive role, as he doesn't want to put Frost in a checking or fourth-line position.
John Tortorella on Morgan Frost:
"I know I need to get him in. I want to get him in. I just have not seen an opening for him right now. I'm not going to put Frosty in to a checking role or play him on the fourth line. If I'm going to put hm back in, it's going to be in an offensive situation."
