Fletcher's plan for the trade deadline could change because of this information

With the way the market is going, things can get spicy very fast. In fact, reports are indicating various informations so it's sometimes difficult to keep up.
We all know that Claude Giroux' sweepstakes are going to animate the deadline, but his future is probably not where everybody thought it was going to be.
The Colorado Avalanche have been reportedly very interested in the Flyers' captain, but things seem to have changed a little bit. According to Friedman, even if Joe Sakic, Avs GM, is still looking at Giroux, they could look somewhere else to bolster their offense.
He also added that the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers were keeping attention to the situation.

Colorado were ready to make a huge splash and it could have benefit the Flyers. They are all-in this year and it didn't seem to disturb Sakic to pay a big amount to acquire what he thinks his team needed.
