The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have added new players to their team, following in the footsteps of their affiliated team, the Philadelphia Flyers. The AHL league is known to have a deep pool of talent, which can be used for call-ups, and this talent never runs out in the minor leagues.

The team has brought in a physical defenseman, Koletrane Wilson, to add some toughness to the mix. Wilson played for the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the WHL during his junior career, where he accumulated 210 PIMS over the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons.
He's not all grit, though, as he played 190 games, scoring 11 goals and 52 assists for a total of 62 points. During the 2022-2023 season, he played for the Indy Fuel in the ECHL, where he scored 1 goal and 8 assists, and 66 PIMS.
The Phantoms have also added Darren Brady, who was acquired from the Reading Royals for future considerations.

Brady has been playing professional hockey for four seasons and will continue his career with the Phantoms.
During the 2021-2022 season, he made 47 appearances with the Idaho Steelheads, scoring 7 goals and 25 assists. He played 12 more games with the Steelheads, posting 3 assists, before being called up to the San Jose Barracuda, where he played 50 games and scored 3 goals and 6 assists.
