Flyers forward Wade Allison has had a tough start to his NHL career. During the Wild - Flyers game, Allison had to exit the second period due to a lower-body injury. He sustained the injury when he was blocking a shot and only logged 5 minutes and 14 seconds of ice time.'

The 25-year-old right winger was hoping that his NHL season would be recovered after taking a hit against the Ottawa Senators which left him with an oblique injury that cut his season short by 5 weeks.
He has played 32 games with seven goals 4 assists for 11 points and he is a + 11.

Head coach John Tortorella likes his defensive game and understands that defense comes first. Flyers fans hope that this is just a small injury and he will make his return sooner than later.
The Flyers have concluded their first half of the season and will enjoy a needed break with the All-Star Game approaching. Their next game will be at home on Monday, February 6th against the New York Islanders.
