On Tuesday afternoon, the Philadelphia Flyers made big waves. Trading Ivan Provorov to the Columbus Blue Jackets in return for a hefty return which was a bigger haul than originally anticipated.
The 3-way deal between the Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers, and Los Angeles Kings, came pretty quick in rapid succession.
The deal saw the Flyers acquire Cal Peterson (LAK), Sean Walker (LAK), Helge Grans (LAK), 2023 1st Rd Pick (22nd overall), 2023 2nd Rd Pick (LAK) and are still expected to receive CBJ's 2023 2nd round pick.

Flyers fans originally thought trading Ivan Provorov was a bad idea, as the Kings gave little in return originally. But the trade then saw the Kings give up a handful of prospects and draft picks. The Columbus Blue Jackets only acquired Ivan Provorov out of the 3-way-deal, as the Kings ate up 30% of Ivan Provorov's contract.
This trade was a great move from General Manager Danny Briere, in his first real move as GM. Already improving and looking better then the Flyers past GM's.
