The Philadelphia Flyers have been fairly quiet so far at the trade deadline despite having some talent teams are calling about.
However, after Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher made a trade with the Los Angeles Kings sending Zach MacEwen to the Kings for Brendan Lemieux and a 2023 5th round pick maybe more trades will follow.
One name that's come up as a potential Flyer that could be on the move is forward Kevin Hayes. The 30 year-old currently has 3 more years on his current contract that pays him $7,142,857 annually.

Flyers Insider Bill Sommermann would share his opinion on the likelihood of Hayes being traded today:
Sounds like there is still a chance - prob less than 50% - that the Flyers move Kevin Hayes before the deadline. Couple teams have circled back to Hayes in past 24hrs. Just a matter of return & getting money to work. Hard to move that big of contract at deadline. #FueledByPhilly
Hayes is having a excellent season statistics all things considered he represented the Flyers at the 2023 NHL All-Star game, and would be a nice pick-up for a contender if they can manage to afford Hayes' salary.
