The Columbus Blue Jackets restructured their blue line, trading for Damon Severson and Philadelphia's Ivan Provorov.
Provorov, before tonight's game, critiqued John Tortorella's defensive strategy
«Overall the last three years the way the team played over there, it's not really my game. It was a lot of rimming, throwing the puck away. Well, there was a turnover in the offensive end. Philly capitalized and Laughton took it up the ice. He then did a nice move on Ivan, then found Travis Konecny going behind the defenders. He then gave it to Travis, cut back, and whipped a wicked wrister. It dinged off the crossbar and went in.
