NHL training camps have completed their third day of activities. It is widely expected that NHL head coaches, along with their coaching staff, will begin the process of evaluating what they have seen in the first few days and initiate a series of roster cuts.

Some teams have already started reducing their lineups. Today, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that they are trimming their camp by five players.
General manager Danny Briere has released forward Jonathan Fauchon and defensemen Sam Sedley, Denver Barkey, Carter Sotheran, and Oliver Bonk. The first two were invitees who joined the Flyers during camp, while the other three will be returning to their junior teams.
Flyers fans should keep a close eye on Tyson Foerster, Bobby Brink, Elliot Desnoyers, Ronnie Attard, and Sam Ersson, as these players are expected to compete for a spot on the roster this season.
The Flyers now have 52 players remaining, and they will face the New York Islanders in their second preseason game on Wednesday, September 27th. It won't be long before more significant decisions are made, and the cuts become more frequent.
