The Philadelphia Flyers and their management team are focused on implementing a culture change. Change has become the buzzword for this offseason, as the organization made the decision earlier this year to initiate a tear-down and rebuilding process.

Former general manager and president Chuck Fletcher's leadership led the team astray, with many of his deals and signings not panning out as expected, coupled with some unfortunate circumstances.
Now, the newly appointed general manager, Danny Briere, faces the daunting task of extricating the Flyers from this predicament and guiding them back onto the winning path to reclaim their position in the playoffs.

As change permeates through the organization, it is not limited to the lower ranks; the upper management, including the new chairman and CEO, Dan Hilferty, has also taken proactive steps. Hilferty recently paid a visit to some fans, personally sharing his insights on the team's future direction.
During this event, President Keith Jones was also present, emphasizing that the fans are the team's top priority. While it is commendable to voice such sentiments and generate positive publicity by demonstrating support for the fan base through pictures in the media, it is now crucial for the management team to step up and make the tough decisions necessary to improve the team's performance across all three levels of the game.
Ultimately, the fans desire playoff hockey and a chance at the Stanley Cup every year.
If Hilferty, Jones, Briere, and Tortorella can successfully achieve this, then I will consider this rebuild to be a resounding success.
