The Philadelphia Flyers have a new ghost in town, no, not Shane Ghostisbehere, we are talking about the absence of Flyers newly acquired defenseman Ryan Ellis. Ellis was acquired by Philadelphia in exchange for defenseman Philip Myers, which at the time was a huge win for the Flyers organization and fans were happier than ever as the team acquired a skilled defenseman like Ellis, until like all good things in Philly, Ellis's spot on the team quickly went south and the injuries started to pile in.
This upcoming season will mark one year of Ryan Ellis being a Flyer, with only four games played in the organization underneath his belt. There has not been a set injury marked on Ellis, or a timeline, and the Flyers are now refusing to give a update until further notice (after training camp in about a months time).
