Flyers forward Cam Atkinson received some good news regarding his injury status, and the news couldn't come fast enough. The Flyers right winger announced today that he'll be back «sooner rather than later»
In his first season with the Flyers, he played 73 games (23G, 27A) for 50 points.
His injury was not revealed, but he said with a smile that it was a body injury and one he has never endured before. He was cleared for contact. Once he's been cleared to play he will play in his season debut. On the injury front, let's hope for more good news.
