After a disappointing night Tuesday, the Flyers took their revenge on the Blue Jackets, Thursday, with a 4-1 win in Columbus.

What do I take away from this game?
Owen Tippett, Noah Cates and Morgan Frost all played a great game. Cates scored his 2nd goal in as many matches. Tippett was once again very dangerous in the offensive zone, as he was rewarded with a goal, his second since his debut with the Flyers.

To be honest, the 23-year-old could easily have 7 or 8 goals if he was a bit more lucky. But, hey, the most important thing is the process until the end of the campaign. He has been very good since the trade.
Frost is also beginning to gain more and more confidence in his game. He has shown some flashes of his great creativity. Just look at that!
1. It was Cam Atkinson's first game in Columbus since his trade to Philadelphia this summer. He received a great ovation from the Nationwide Arena crowd.
Atkinson told his teammates before the game to "dig a little bit deeper" for his return in Columbus. It seems that he has been heard.
2. It was only the 5th time this year that the Flyers won a game after allowing the first goal. They are now 5-31-4 when conceding the opening goal of a match.
3. This game didn't begin well for Mike Yeo's players, as the Blue Jackets opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal. The Flyers are the 2nd worst team in the league with 10 shorthanded goals against. Since the start of March, Philadelphia's powerplay has scored 5 goals and has allowed 4. Yikes.
4. That is a great from Scott Laughton.
5. Once again, Martin Jones was great in front of his net. He allowed only one goal on 27 shots. On Tuesday, Mike Yeo said that the difference in the 4-2 loss against those same Blue Jackets was Elvis Merzlikins. Well, this time, Jones shut the door at important times, which helped his teammates to secure the win.
6. The Flyers are now heading home for Saturday's game against the Ducks. They will look to win a second game in a row for the first time since early March.
