Flyers Today: Chuck Fletcher took a big decision three years ago, and it backfired yesterday

What an embarrassing loss for the Flyers yesterday. Despite a fair 1st period, the Flyers were dominated for the rest of the game by the Canadiens.
I don't even know how they had 3 lead during this contest...
The tying goal late in the 3rd period, was just an example of this miserable season for the Flyers.
Rasmus Ristolainen made a good play (he had a terrible game though), but Derick Brassard completely missed his assignment by letting Rem Pitlick all along in front of Carter Hart.

By the way, do you remember when the Flyers preferred to pick
Cam York instead of
Cole Caufield at the 2019 NHL Draft? Well, it backfired yesterday. What a shot by the Canadiens forward, who is just on fire since the appointment of Martin St. Louis behind the bench.
I'm not taking a shot at York. The kid is going to be a good NHL player. No doubt about it. And he's absolutely not the reason why the Flyers lost yesterday.
However, you had the opportunity to draft a 30 to 40 goalscorer per season. You know that your team desperately need some elite talent on offense, but they ignored this fact. Why? Because Caufield is too small?
And I also have no doubt in my mind that Caufield is going to be the player with the most impact on his team compared to York.
1. I saw a lot of Tweets yesterday about the fact that the Flyers lost to the worst team in the league. Well, it's true if you look at the standings. But since February 3rd, Montreal is 14th in the NHL with a 8-6-1 record.
Do you know which team is placed 31st during this sequence? It seems like you already do.
2. Sorry for the reminder...
3. I'm not going to rant on every player, but Rasmus Ristolainen had a tough outing last night. First when
Nick Suzuki got past him like he was a cone...
On the 3rd Canadiens goal, his play was the right thing to do. But he has to get up faster, and it wasn't necessary to slide as much as he did. He could've stood on one knee (or use his stick) to cut the pass lane.
4. Bright side of this game. Giroux scored his 900th point in the NHL.
