For the Philadelphia Flyers 2023 third round pick Yegor Zavragin, his season in the VHL can only be described by one word; perfection. In 14 games in the VHL with Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk club, Zavragin has a perfect 11-0-0 record with three shutouts, a .944 save percentage and a 1.50 GAA.

On Saturday, Zavragin's undefeated season was in jeaporody after Yugra suffered a 5-4 loss in overtime to HK Norilisk. Zavragin had a great game stopping 21 shots, but, the VHL goes by a different standard when determining goalie records.

Although it appeared that Zavragin's record moved to 11-0-0-0-1-0, a further review and determination was made that "Zavragin was pulled for Nosov after the 4th goal. Yugra then tied the game. Nosov is thus the goaltender of record. Zavragin's record remains unblemished".
With Samuel Ersson holding down the fort and Carter Hart seemingly no longer a part of the Flyers long term plan, the future of the Flyers between the pipes could lie in the hands of the 18-year-old third round pick.
